The aim of Student Wellness Coaching sessions is to provide students with an opportunity to be heard; to express their concerns and needs; and to assist them in determining what they want, and what they need to do to achieve their desired outcome(s). All sessions are student-centred and focus on the student's needs.
Student Wellness Coaching is a process that facilitates change by helping students recognize the unique skills, strengths, and resources they possess in response to challenging life/school situations. In so doing, students are better able to reframe difficult experiences and work towards achieving their goals through effective action and strategy setting.
